Dr. Jean-Marc Vaillancourt

1967 - Graduated in veterinary medicine and animal pharmacology at the University of Montréal.
1969 - The Doctor chooses a masters degree in research, and opens a veterinary clinic in Cote-des-Neiges as well as the Westmount Animal Hospital. He becomes the father of two boys, one of whom will become a veterinarian in turn.
1970 to 1980 - Private research on feline urinary syndrome, discovers the root of the problem and the development of a preventive solution begins.
1980 to 1990 - The foundation of the Canadian Institute of Zootherapy cited in the book by Mrs. Caroline Bouchard, on the beneficial effects of animals on our health.
1985 - Study of acupuncture at C.M.V in Tokyo, in addition to the study of raising free-range chickens and pigs.
1990-2000 Manufacture of Chatonnel (now Sanidoux) litter and distribution.
Construction extension of the residence of St-Valerien.
Founding member of the DMV group in Lachine.
2000-2010 Purchase convent of St-Ours for conservation and restoration.
2010-2020 Development of the St-Ours convent.
Every day for several years now, Doctor Vaillancourt has been providing exceptional care, whether preventive or treating, to his patients at the Westmount Veterinary Hospital.
